Movie Recommendations Part II and IPL Awards.........

Okay so m back with some movie recommendations. Now for a change i felt there r certain hindi movies that can be recommended which u might have not seen. so Here we go:

1. Johnny Gaddar

Its a suspense thriller and as usual the plot revolves around money, murder etc. But the cool thing here is that u r told from the beginning WHO IS THE KILLER. Ha ha ha. Isnt that funny??? Then wats the thrill. For that watch the movie. U will be thoroughly enjoyed. Neil Nitin Mukesh(same person not three different ones ;-) ) is good in his debut movie.

2. Mithya

Mithya is a dark comedy. Starring Ranvir shourey, it has a very unusual story. Now i wud love to tell it but i feel the joy of watching it then is lost. Okay a bit of info. Its a movie about a struggling actor(shorey) and he comes to know there is a notorious gangster who looks exactly like him. Having naserruding shah, saurabh shukla(kallu mama of satya) as supporting cast, u dont need anything else.

3. The Pianist

I had watched the movie two weeks back. Had not much of expectations. Soon after it started, i started liking it. It was so simple in its storytelling. Yet it was so effective. No spectacular scene, no such dialogue that can make u stand up and clap for it. But still it looked so real in its portrayal and i realized the virtues of Simplicity. The movie is a real life story about a Polish Jew person(who happens to be a pianist by profession) and his struggle in Nazi era. Andrian Brody(the lead) plays the role really well bt dont think he deserved an oscar for this. Perhaps the other nominees were even worse. ;-) But real credit goes to Roman Polanski, the director for such a great movie.

IPL AWARDS

Okay now something humorous. Following are the IPL AWARDS 2009 that i had seen on net. These r not my creations. But Credit goes to those who created it. ENJOY.
